What started as a simple tabletop game has evolved into a digital experience. Masquerade began as a student project created by Michael Bujtas. The game grew in popularity so much within his university that he enacted the first Kickstarter for the physically printing the game, succeeding in earning $5000 in crowdfunding. The game acquired its artist, Deanna Vaida, and the first decks were printed.
After years of worldbuilding and conceptualizing the gameplay for a digital format in the Boston area, the Masquerade team is prepared to bring the beloved to the PC and potentially mobile devices. We have big plans for a future Kickstarter to make the dream a reality.
Our goal is to create a game full of colorful characters that anyone can enjoy. So come on in, and join the Masquerade!
